He wasn't that noticeable. Probably just the usual ups and downs of a rookie season.

Was pretty much benched. Played a little over 8 minutes. Zero PP time

So who do you people think the Flyers would match up best against in a 1st round playoff matchup if they do make it? Rags, BJ's, Caps? and who would you like to see?

I'd love to see the pens, but that wouldn't till later if it does materialize.

Im a bit leery of the Rags, i have nightmares about Bob coming back to bite us in the ass in a series but im sure BJ fans would too about Mason.

So caps? It'd be a pretty fun series especially with all the extra curricular activities that have occurred between both teams.

I don't like the idea of facing the Rangers. I don't quite know why.

I dont want to see the Pens. I know we can beat them but you aren't getting by them without some of your guys getting run at with the intent to injure. Sore losers that bunch.

They'll be playing right into our hands

Besides whatever damage they do to this team, the worse the Flyers will do to them

Raffl needs to replace Downie on the Couturier line.

Nc ST missed a ton of free throws in regulation. They were up by 16 in the second half. They led the whole game then missed free throws at the end.

Lundqvist. Good team, makes you work...have given the Flyers a tough time over the last few years.

They're a talented team...Awesome first line. Seguin is on the verge of super stardom.
- Jsaquella

I thought Dallas played with a good amount of desperation. As mentioned earlier, this was a quality win by the Flyers. I would think losing Peverly certainly didn't help their mental approach in the last few weeks, I think they will go down to the wire fighting for that last wild card spot in the West.

And then the next round starts and Giroux has broken wrists.

No thanks.

Ruff can be funny about rookies -- I read Buffalo stuff a lot, and he would puzzle their beat guys about usage.

They could never get a feel for what they thought the rookies were doing, right or wrong, with Ruff. But they leaned toward that he doesn't trust them when the games are big.

Lots of those guys are gone. The idea of facing a team with Girardi, McDonagh, Staal and Lundqvist isn't appealing though. They can really D up. I just don't think the Flyers should fear them as much anymore.

Well done, Flyers!

Did you guys notice there was almost a beard fight between Couts and Dillon?

2nd goal from Simmonds was pretty sweet. He was letting G know he can get it done too! And Raffl...what's not to f'n like about that guy?

One last thing, some of y'all should be choking down some crow based upon the predictions before the Flyers started this 12 game gauntlet.

I think Phoenix will squeak in, but it will go down to the wire.

Flyers have played such good teams lately, it doesn't feel like a quality win, but it is.

I don't know, maybe he's trying to teach the kid something, and I'm all for that. But that team lacks offense, and he's one of the best offensive players on the team. Another goal for the Stars, earlier in the game could've really changed things.

The reason I disagree with that is Rick Nash, Derek Stepan and Derick Brassard...those dudes are good. Rick Nash can really hurt you, and they have a ton of guys with very good hockey sense.

They haven't been as consistent as they'd like, and they could certainly miss the playoffs if they don't get it together. But that's one team that, if they figure out what they aren't doing...they have the talent to really make your life hard.

The Rangers scare me. Have the grit to grind you, and the talent to beat you. Also a bit of a chip on their shoulder the last few years, or they should at least.

Columbus has promise, but the experience isn't there. I would rather take them on.

I agree completely -- I get it; you want to make sure young players play the right way. But man...sometimes you just need a goal

Every team can in the playoffs. The Flyers just came out okay against Malkin, Crosby, Kane, Toews, etc. I say bring on the Rangers, or any other team. And let's see what happens.

The reason the Flyers struggled so much against the Rangers was because they forechecked like hell and played great two-way hockey.

They are a team built around offense now. They have more skill, but I don't see them being as hard to play against from the Flyers perspective.

I would rather face this Rangers team than last year's or the year before that

Not as much, but that's a team that can grind out wins if it needs to.
