I don't remember the Flyers transition game ever being as good as it is right now. They're making smart, quick decisions ... and seem to always have their feet moving.

These are elite NHL teams they are skating with....the gaps between the d and the forwards really has been flawless the last month....with only a couple hick ups....solid play.

I thought they got a little sloppy in the second period. Stars really upped their game and checked really well. They really clogged the neutral zone.
- PhillySportsGuy

Dallas' speed was definitely causing problems in the 2nd and some of the 3rd ... but, unlike in the past, the Flyers didn't wilt. They got their game back a bit in the latter half of the 3rd.

Even the Pens games, Mason was solid, and with the way they're playing, they don't usually need the goalie to steal them games.

Stars were a desperate team tonight. Flyers had three straight games where they had to amp up the emotion and could easily have not matched Dallas' effort. They responded splendidly.

Yea. I wouldn't want to be the Stars next opponent. They seem to be coming out of their slump.

Not gonna be easy, they're gonna have to win their way into the playoffs.

Yeah. You can't expect to outplay every team in every period. Thats why positioning is very important. Stars had some zone time, but the Flyers did a great job of limiting chances. Forwards did a good job of getting out on point men too.

The Rinaldo penalty in the offensive zone wasn't very smart and gave the Stars even more life. The Stars were pushing even before that, but I thought it even energized them more.

The Flyers didn't play a great game, but they did what they had to do. They found a way to win the game and won the 3rd period. That's what good teams do when they don't have their best game going.

Pens and Wings 4 - 4 with 4 minutes to go.

I guess I'm rooting for the Pens to win in regulation.

So who do you people think the Flyers would match up best against in a 1st round playoff matchup if they do make it? Rags, BJ's, Caps? and who would you like to see?

I'd love to see the pens, but that wouldn't till later if it does materialize.

Im a bit leery of the Rags, i have nightmares about Bob coming back to bite us in the ass in a series but im sure BJ fans would too about Mason.

So caps? It'd be a pretty fun series especially with all the extra curricular activities that have occurred between both teams.

It definitely felt like a goal was coming. Mason delayed the inevitable, but eventually they got one.

They're a talented team...Awesome first line. Seguin is on the verge of super stardom.

They just simply don't have enough offensive depth. Basically a one line team. They play hard.

Jackets or Caps. Rangers are very likely though.

These ROWs the Flyers are picking up...the math is REALLY starting to favor them.

Things could still get sideways, obviously. But the math is starting to REALLY REALLY REALLY look good for them

- AllInForFlyers

In the end the Math won't matter if they keep playing like this. 90 % of this game at that level is mental and if they keep beating really good teams the level of confidence is going to go through the roof.....and it should.

I honestly think the Jackets worry me the most. They just grind and grind and grind and get good defense & goaltending from Bob

Nichushkin must have done something to piss Lindy Ruff off.

Could have put together a pretty good Team Canada 2 with Seguin and Giroux

I dont want to see the Pens. I know we can beat them but you aren't getting by them without some of your guys getting run at with the intent to injure. Sore losers that bunch.

I'd have to say...Columbus.

At the end of the day...I'll just say it: The Rags are good enough, talented enough, that you don't want to be messing around with them until you have to.

Columbus, while improving rapidly, doesn't have quite the talent level. They compete hard, and they won't go easily, but if I had to choose, I'd say start with them.

He wasn't that noticeable. Probably just the usual ups and downs of a rookie season.
