Did we ever get to the bottom of why Rinaldo lost his mind on Roussell to begin with? Was he goaded in to something or did he just make a poor decision in a vacuum? It seems like that early in the game there had to be some preliminary stuff going on during the pregame skate. If not, Rinaldo was just being an idiot and frankly acting out of character, he doesn't just jump players for no reason. That is not his M.O. |

I hAve a delima... I'm all set to make my yearly trip for sabres game in April but thinking maybe I'll skip that and go to a playoff game instead. How hard is it to get playoff tickets? Money not an issue. Any info??? Never been to a playoff game in Philly. |

I don't know the exact language behind it (whether it's an MVP or "best player"), but yea, pretty much I think. They always have 10 finalists however, for whatever that's worth. |

Might have a tough time winning it, though... only junior-aged dman to ever get it was one Matthew Carle. |

Hey, Matty Carle won it so it's gotta be a precursor to a terrific career.

Flyers also have a great carnival open to the public.
Not surprising that the Islanders are last. Along with the Browns, Raiders and Bobcats as the worst run organizations in sports. |

Whats the deal with Gaudreau? Is he a free agent after this season or still property of the Flames? |

He will become a Free Agent if he is not under contract after June 1. |

If he makes it to FA, then I like his chances to join the Flyers. He is LW, and we are a bit weak on that side.
If Calgary doesnt sign Gaudreau by June 1, I would like to see Homer make a deal with Calgary to get hid rights at the draft to sign him. And give them leverage to make a deal of Schenn and Schenn for a top defenseman or top draft pick.

Nothing clear. In one breath he says he'd like to play on the East Coast. In the next, he has every intent on signing with Calgary. |

Or we could not give up assets for an undersized kid with zero pro experience and keep our blossoming 2nd line center, and just sign the kid as a UFA.
I like Gaudreau. I like seeing him play, and I really liked him in the WJC. That said, he is nothing more than a small, fast forward who's never played 1 pro game. I'd rather not give up on a young yet now somewhat proven 2nd line center to a team that, really, has very few players of value. |

Nice to see what other teams give. The Flyers have tried this year to do more for STHs, but at the same time, ticket prices next year are going up. |

Calgary said they have a contract ready for him to sign when he is ready. However Gaudreau can also decide to finish his Senior year meaning he wont sign with anyone. He hasn't said what he wants to do yet.
I think the biggest reason he might not sign with Calgary is Burke. Burke loves big wingers, and with Gaudreau's size he could either find himself buried in the minors despite being NHL ready, or quickly traded for a larger winger, with no choice of his destination. Remember he was drafted by Feaster. |
