Yeah I agree but you were making it seemed like its a good thing they lost because we'd be getting there pick. Lets say we do get there 2015 pick. Can't predict how teams will do obviously but lets just assume the Blues pick is a playoff pick so 15 or higher. Isles pick if they give it to us I bet they spend big so we don't have a great shot at the lottery lets say the pick is anywhere from 5th till 14 or worse. Are pick will likely be 1-8 or 9 I'd guess. Not horrible but not as great as it could be.

Can't believe where this season has gone other than down the drain, but hopefully all up hill from here, I don't think they are quite this bad next season, still bad, but not this bad.

They can't afford to not give it to us. It would be a nightmare of epic proportions for them if they gave us next year's pick and they finished at the bottom again. Not to mention we have their 2nd next year already. After next season they are moving to Brooklyn. They will want to make a big splash. Not drafting until the 3rd round is not a good idea for them.
