Its not tanking its rebuilding! Wait until it effects cities like Pittsburgh, Detroit, Boston or Chicago and they would change the odds in their favor, because those teams would never tank....errrr rebuild

If I was a betting man id go with the safe bet the Sabres will end up with the number 2 selection and hopefully the number one selecting team isn't looking for a playmaking center.

Just in time for Connor McDavid. People already don't trust the league, they go about bait and switching for a prized draft pick it won't help their credibility.

As for Lieuwen - while I agree Goosie you want the Amerks to get their best shot, you also have to give players their shot. If he's the top goalie and we need one, you are sort of honor bound to give the kid a shot in the bigs.

BTW - that's the difference between tanking and rebuilding. You tank if you purposely misuse your resources to drive down your ability to compete. You are rebuilding if you happen to shift most of your veterans out for young players and picks.
