True.. To be fair I think Hodgson's had probably the most linemate changes all year and he seems to have given up on the season after Stewart went down with injury... Will see how he does next year when I'm sure they will give him better and more consistent linemates

I make no excuses for Hodgson. He benefit last season from playing largely with Vanek and Pommer to raise his numbers to get a contract he didnt deserve.

This season, he lost out the top line center role to a guy smaller than him but with a bigger heart.

Ennis and Hodgson have flipped positions, and Ennis made the most of it on both sides of the fence. Hodgson without good players = nothing. Ennis without good players = still good.

This is true but when your linemates get changed so often it does effect the chemistry of the group. Not sticking up for Hodgson, I actually just blasted him here last game. But I do think next year he'll be a bit better if he plays with Stewart and another big bodied skilled winger on the left. Unless of course we trade him.

He had a great 10 game stretch right after his injury playing with Dags and Otter. It was the best hockey I've seen from Hodgson since hes been with us. I dont know what happened since then, but I refuse to believe it has to do with his linemates due to that stretch.

Id like to see him play with Foligno and Deslauriers again.
