You know I like what I see in Edmonton.I think they are a team on the rise .Give them a few more years at most.I think if the fans can just hold on a little longer they will see a team much like the blues in a few seasons. - buffalo 1
They are unbalanced and not very good. They will lose 1/2 of their super 1st rounders to FA before they even sniff being mediocre |

That is a pretty bold statement considering no forward depth and a shaky D. That's assuming they have the goaltending situation figured out with Scrivens |

They will turn the corner soon. Just like Colorado did |

I know people think hes over rated I however do not but but Jordan Staal was a perfect 3rd center on that team. Yes, he wasnt going to stay around forever in a 3rd line role but they didnt replace him with equal value imo.
My wildcard and a guy I really like is Beau Bennett is he can come back healthy and pot a few goals. Been waiting on that forawhile - hubie
They should of never let him go.That role and team was perfect for him and Pittsburg.Hes no Jordon Staal and hes been damn near lifeless on the Hurricanes. |

I don't see it. Had they not fired their coach after last season I would agree with you but poor management decisions will get in their way from being successful IMO |

Ive only seen about 10 games of thiers recently but I like what I see and my instincts tell me they are moving in the right direction with recent moves.Love that new arena their building as well.I think their going to be a team to watch in the near future especially if they can get Yaks figured out. |

It just shows that you cant have a winnign team when your whole roster is the same player top to bottom. The whole roster is poorly managed. |

Unless he wins something hes just another good goalie with fancy numbers especially on a loaded team like St Louis. |

Colorado brought in Roy and drafted Mackinnon. Even without Mackinnon they would be a better team than last years. |

They are more complete top to bottom, figure you could have filled in any of the top 5 players selected and they would be better. What they do well is as i say answer questions. Ok whos going to score boom boom whos goign to kill a penalty boom ans so on. |

Colorado was on the rise before they brought in Roy IMO. Takes more then a few years for a young team to come together even with number one draft picks. |

Does he though? I don't know, Pittsburgh has lacked depth for the last few years. I know they got Morrow and Iginla last deadline (who both were non factors) but there bottom 6 is atrocious and they have Lee Stempniak playing on the 1st line. IMO they arent near St.Louis, Boston, Anaheim, Chicago, or even LA depth wise - sbroads24
I think he does a good job . They have had a rash of injuries this year as well to key players. But Bylsma cannot change game plan to compensate for personal changes.

Yes and how long ago since hes won the Vezina and the Silver is second place. What has he done lately for anyone ? You think this guy is the best goalie in the league ? Really. I don't think so. |

Where Edmonton has lacked is in the 2nd to 7th rounds . Their scouts are not hitting on those rounds . God Their owner has as much money as Pegula. He needs to raise the price of aspirins in all his drug stores and hire some better scouts. |

Idk two second last place finishes in 3 years and the other year they missed the playoffs and Buffalo had more points than them. It takes more than a few good players to win. Case in point Edmonton. Roy helped stabilize them and gave them an identity. |

They werent 10 months ago when they finished 6 spots worse than the Oilers in the standings.
The coaching change and the overall development of their younger players helped them turn the corner. The same will happen to Edmonton fairly soon. They have already made some strides by fleecing St. Louis for Perron and fleecing LA for Scrivens. |

Miller is top 5 in the league. Him on a real team just solidifys that but you are going to say he needed to be on a good team to win. Goaltending does not win games by themselves in this league anymore. Hell Miller had a .923% on this Buffalo roster all year. Even with his Buffalo save percentage he is top 5 in the league of goalies who played over 35 games |

I agree the EDM roster is a joke. Hall and Eberle are gonna want to be out of there asap. Outside of them they have zip. |
