a log jam of mediocrity.. i think Ullmark stays in Sweden till we get the Lewey, makarov, Knapp, hackett thing figured out.
NHL next season should be Neuvirth and Enroth
AHL Lewey and mak or knapp with hackett gone. - IndianaSabresFan
Seen enough of Enroth myself.Hes not the future here.Lets move on next season with some fresh blood. |

problem being i don't think any of the young guys will benefit from being thrown to the wolves on this team next season. We will see what Lewey has in him over the next few weeks.. if he shows something i could see them moving enroth and going with him and neuvirth.... but if he shows any hesitation i think he is back to the AHL. |

the blues are just an overall better team.. Miller v Rask will not win that series. - IndianaSabresFan
Better team I beg to differ. The Bruins are thick and deep and are designed to win Cups. |

Who knows if its mediocrity or not there. Goalies are a weird breed. They do take a lot longer to develop. Hackett will catch on somewhere but I don't think he has a place here next year. |

Miller with a Boston D would have just as good if not better numbers than Rask. We all wanted to see what Miller would do with a good team. Look at his numbers with the Blues. I think St Louis has more depth than Boston. The only thing getting in the way of a Bruins Blues series would be how stacked the Western Conference is. |

there inlies the issue. Its a slug fest though the West and looks like Boston can almost coast to the East Final. |

goalies are a position that can be greatly affected by the team and management in front of them. a goalie that isn't given a shot in chicago because management doesn't like his crazy style could end up being the greatest goalie in NHL history on another team.. |

There are 4 or 5 teams in the West that are going to slug it out. LA, Chicago, St Louis, The Ducks, and Sharks. I am not sure if whoever makes it out of the West will have a lot left in the tank |

Not a number watcher but I don't belive his numbers have changed except with reguards to shots faced. He still tends to let one goal in that shouldn't of gotten passed him per game and another that should of. = 2 per game or more.Rask can shut a team out on any given night |

Thats where the depth of Chicago and STl will come out. But yes what is left in the tank, Bostons team blueprint is pretty dam good and being well rested can tip the scales in their favor.
Talk on NHL NEtwork Radio they think few teams can stack up, they think Toronto could take them down but I dont see it. |

He has under a 2.00 GAA and had over a .930 Sv % since joining the Blues. Very Jonathon Quick-esque numbers if you ask me |

Me too. I'm intrigued by Neuwirth (sp?). He's been pretty solid so far, I thought, and I'm looking forward to how he handles the rest of the season with Enroth out and recuperating.
Enroth has shown flashes of brilliance, but I just haven't gotten the sense that he'll be a consistent #1 in the NHL. |

Yep.Maybe a healthy Pittsburg could of put up a little fight but even then you never know which Flower you will get in net.Basically theres Boston in the East and all the rest of the scrubs. |

Miller with the Sabres .923% 2.72 GAA
Rask .929% 2.07 GAA
Miller with Blues .933% 1.61 GAA sure its a smaller sample size but no doubt his numbers would be on par with Rask if not better |

I dont trust the Flower, they can put up the points but Boston has the man power to shut them down. Think they have a few players who you can rattle and take off their game. |

Just can't let the hate for Miller Go ? He has been a factor for St. Louis . He is very driven and misunderstood because of that . He is also playing for his final NHL contract . I have a feeling he is aiming for a Conn Smythe Trophy and Stanley Cup.

i would like to see neuvirth for a full season as our start with enroth as the back up... let lewey get the starter role in roch. |

I still belive Rask at this point in his career is one of the best in the game right now.Millers never made me scratch my head as to if I can get one by him or not in a game. Its not a question of if but when. |

Fleury folds like a cheap lawn chair when there is pressure . Pittsburgh needs to start figuring out a way to trade him . If they want to take advantage of Crosby and Malkin in their prime.

100% agree, at 5 Mil this year and next hes at the money line of hes not worth more than that and need a better playoff goalie. They are a team who can win it all or get swept in the first |

The year they won their first Cup I predicted it because of their style of play and that wildcard goalie Tim Thomas who everyone thought was washed up.I figured this team was exactly the kind of team that would cause opposing teams 7 games of pain in a playoff series.Since then they just keep getting better and deeper every year.As much as I hate them they are the mold for how to build a championship team. They are the new machine. |
