1. Yes, believe it or not, the US covers the whole planet with many million radars and satellites

2. they likely were not looking, but if they wanted to find it, they would take the recorded date (I think it's still recorded onto a DVD) and look at it.

3. neither do I, still wondering how it wasn't filtered....

So you agree that, they don't know if they did see that plane on their radars...?

Just wondering. because what reports are suggesting is that the plane was in an area where military radars aren't used 100% of the time (mostly in india) in order to save money...

And I don't know why would a soldier based in Afghanistan look at radars covering the indian Ocean...

- Pecafan Fan

If I may.

I think the only thing he and I are suggesting is that some country had to have picked up that plane on radar even after the transponder was shut off.

Suggesting.

I'm not saying it's impossible. We're just discussing.

I find that story fascinating.

i thought the link Marty posted yesterday offered a plausible scenario where the plane may have shadowed another plane.

that said i think it crashed.

I'm not saying soldiers in Afghanistan look at the Indian Ocean, but the US Navy and other world Navy are monitoring the seas.

Reports are clueless, CNN said the plane might be in Pakistan. The truth is even if the Navy picked up on radar, they are not going to share with other world power their findings. This could cause anger as to why a certain area is being monitored.

Right now, someone knows where the plane is, but it's become political. If the plan crashed, there's no reason for some countries to say they know where it is other then ethics which doesn't go well with government. If the plane was shot down, no one will want to claim responsibility. If the plane got hijacked and landed somewhere, governments are not going to claim where it is without researching the impact first, especially since they would be accusing a country of hiding it.

The story yes.

They way we're being fed the info, and how the situation is being handled, is deplorable.

Also, I'm not a good flyer, so I need some answers.

Plane probably carrying some intel or weapons in secret. Another organization knew about it and pulled off the heist of the century

The thing is, there's no reason to speak to media. Could be discussed privately. 10 days isn't a long time, especially when government officials could be trying to decide what to do.

Furthermore, anyone hoping to recover the weapons or intel will have a hard-time doing so because its likely that the organization has kept all the people alive for use as hostages

Its perfect

What is this picture by the way?
