PK wasn't even top 6 in Canada. - jugkope
Doesn't mean he shouldn't have been. Over the last 3 seasons, PK was on the ice for less goals against per 60 than most of Team Canada's defence. |

Maybe because he never plays on the PK. |

Which is yet another sign of Therrien's incompetence, as when he has played on the PK, he has been one of the best players in the league at it. |

Canada won gold, keeping Subban off the ice was obviously the right call as things couldn't have gone any better with him there. |

I agree with you, Therrien isn't a good coach by any mean. But who would you like at his place ? We're starting to be a little low on "not that bad" coaches who can speak French. |

Can't believe Subban has yet to receive the kind of recognition people are giving Douglas Murray for his abilities on the PK. |

Guy Boucher is the obvious choice. Even though the end of his tenure in Tampa was rough (as with all coaches who are fired), he did take them very far in the playoffs. Furthermore, he coached Subban, Pacioretty, and Price in Hamilton, and won the award for the AHL's top coach. |

If Suter can play 30 mins a night, so can Subban. The guy is a fitness/conditioning monster. |

The Walrus won the Jack Adams last year and is likely to miss the playoffs this year.

I love Patrick Roy.
But it's a great thing for both sides that his first NHL coaching experience is elsewhere.
Who knows, maybe one day.... |
