I dont think this is correct. Ekblad does nothing for Edmonton. We have Big young mobile Dmen in the pipeline already. Ekblad would not be on the Oilers roster next season.

I kind of agree with you. I think EDM would be better suited to take a C like Reinhart,Bennett or Draisaitl, someone with size, and move Gagner. Draisaitl is a beast at over 200lbs. and would be. Great 2nd line C for EDM I think. Use yaks and Gags to get a NHL ready D. I don't think its a slam dunk EDM goes for Ekblad.
