Never seen Al coach other then when he came back to coach his 1500 game at the request of a coach I really like in ted Nolan, but he's a legend.
My favorite coach I have seen in my short 20 year life time has got to be Roy, He's franking awsome. |

Hard to argue against Scotty Bowmans 9 Stanley Cups while coaching, he coached some incredible teams! Five with the powerhouse 70's Canadiens teams, one with the Mario Lemieux lead Penguins in 1992 and three with those incredible Red Wing teams.
That said - for me...Al Arbour was the the best of the best! Between 1980 and 1984 the Islanders won 19 consecutive playoff series, a feat still unparalleled in the history of professional sports. That is simple incredible!!! |
