It's a gamble. If you can get him to sign a 4-5 year deal for like 2 million a year I think in a year or 2 he is a 4-5 million a year type of player.

Cautious optimism. Enjoy the win but don't expect the cup just yet.

I think raffl is about due for a huge game. He keeps impressing. If I'm flyers I try and get him signed to a 4-5 year deal before he really breaks out. This kid has home run written all over him. Playing as well as he does as a first year player.

Obviously missed the game, but nice to see Mason get a shutout. Having him bounce back, and hopefully go on a bit of a hot streak would be very helpful.

I'm just saying this team is decent. A playoff team that might be capable of making some upsets given the right conditions. But they are far from a great team.

That was a good 60 minutes effort. Always great when the Flyers beat the Pens, but even better when it's a shut out. Round 2 tomorrow, more of the same.

He's been fine since Mac became his partner.

He was fine with Gus, too. Mac is a better player than Gus, though.

L. Schenn had a great game, the pass to Vinny was perfect. He has been much better since MacDonald come over. Read and Couts have been awesome. Couts in particular has been really good this season and just seems to be getting better.

I said they were great TODAY. Immediately after that, I said they were a good team, speaking of the big picture at that point
