I actually have no idea why anyone would laugh at paying $4M for Bozak. Take him off the first line, drop him down, cut his output significantly, and he's still worth $4M. $4M doesn't buy you a top player these days. It buys you a top third liner, which, is basically Bozak's WORST case scenario.

It was getting ridiculous at one point. For a team that isn't (on paper anyway) strong down the middle, they had Bozak and Bolland injured, and i think even Kadri suspended at one point, all at the same time. They needed some help down the middle pretty badly.

Holland hasn't been spectacular by any means, but he's filled the spot quite well. That was a pretty good trade. They gave up a pretty decent prospect, but at a position where they're incredibly deep anyway, and got one at a position where they have no depth, particularly among prospects, and a guy that's near NHL ready (that said, I don't think Holland has high end potential. Just a serviceable guy eventually).

Pretty much what I was thinking. I believe Kadri had 2 games on top of all that. Holland did a decent job for them no doubt. I just think that comment was off. Say H. Sedin didn't have a such a (Which I am now informed of WOW) sucky contract I'm sure there would teams without a top that would take him.

Leafs fans trolling Canucks for the sake of trolling. I get that a lot of it deserved too. I find it better to watch it play out. At some point every team will bottom out and we've seen how Leafs fan act when things aren't going well.

this is why kadri is a dumba**. We have 3 centres out and he takes 3 questionable hits to get suspended. Play with an edge, yes. But do it at the right time. Kadri = all skill zero smarts.

agreed. I like kadri as much as i dislike him. Im sure he will (hopefully) mature with age.

And screw marchand...i dropped him in my pool after 40 games of nothing...now look at him!

Umm, I'm not so sure you can call that post trolling. If so, that's pretty light trolling. Hypotehtically, IF they went on the market, saying no one would take the Sedins is likely true. At their current output, they're bad contracts. But even if they improve, trading them as a pair is near impossible. What team can possibly take on $14M in contracts in one shot? Can you break them up? They're legitimately a tough sell.

Probably about 4 or 5 years back, there were quite a few arrogant and obnoxious Sens fans. There are still one or two, but when things went sour, a lot of them just up and disappeared. The Sens contingent on this site almost completely disappeared.

hate the sens but respect them, or at least respect the way they play. Before the year i was laughing how analysts picked them for the cup, and alot of sens fans agreed with me and were humble.
