wow so Mathieu Schneider says players would like to see more interference allowed to slow the game down. Who the hell are the players that want that?

That about sums it up. Ridiculous. The fact that the NHL allows a lot of it as it is stupid. We're talking about the same league that has made significant changes to get scoring up league wide. This won't help.

Did you give dbell the gears while I was gone or am I going to have to pick up the slack?

Take out the trapezoids. Enforce the f'ing boarding rules. That will take out the field day players have plastering defensemen face first into the boards.

Allow the goalies to play beyond the trapezoid, but if they do, then they are fair game to hit

I did a bit. It didn't have the same gusto though when it was a semi-final game.

And it's not as fun when he is defending Kunitz while other Canadians instead of taking part of in the revelry of mocking the Americans are whining about how bad Kunitz is/was playing.

Agree, I would also like to see the penalty were you merely touch a player with your stick removed. I thought Orpik's penalty was a joke, stick on stick play. Also Olympic sized rinks. Much better product.

After watching players like Pyatt and Gibbons, I really hope they don't expand any time soon.

Someone really has to do the picture vs picture of Rich Peverly vs Lebron being carried off the court with the text.

"NHL player has Cardiac Event and asks how much time is left and can I get back in" and just put an ellipsis on the Lebron picture.

Is Pittsburgh going to be slammed by a snowstorm?

Apparently we are getting 24" and schools are already closed tomorrow.

It's March 11th right?

Olympic sized rinks had the opposite effect of what people thought. Goal scoring was way down.

It looks like it will just miss us and hit north of us although you never know with the way the weather has been all winter.

That's funny. It's like 10C in Central Alberta today. I was shoveling off my deck in a t-shirt.

Snow doesn't really bother me but this has been by far the worst winter from a temperature standpoint. 10 days at a time below 10 degrees. Just brutal.
