let me share some facts to help you out with some doubt. Kings are playing good at the right time, scoring goals (more than the league average), goal tending is at its best, they are holding down the #1 defensive spot, have been beating their opponents handily (Colorado gave the Kings a game but still lost) and Kings have been more than doubling up the score on their opponents. The last seven wins were not all against playoff teams but at the same time ducks have lost some games and goal tending looks soft.
No body should be surprised if Kings get past the Ducks.
Ducks have had a great year but you gotta go into the playoffs hot and the Kings are trending that direction while the Ducks are not.

I'm biased, as you obviously are but Ducks past the Kings is no gimme from most peoples point of view

So Ek, why didn't you mention that the Leafs were tied for 3rd with LA at 7%. Why not just say St. Louis, Chicago and Toronto. I think the Leafs have as much of a chance as the so called mighty Kings. I think if the final came down to LA & Toronto it would be Leafs in 6.

Agreed...kings played great and i hate admitting that...nobody is even close to a lock but to say were terrible in the playoffs is a joke...we got beat out two years in a row by the same team. I do love our chances tho...as long as we stay away from california teams

Kings last 2 games seem so much more open and fast paced now that they have gotten Gaborik. He hasn't gotten a point yet, but has shown a great impact already and it is just a matter of time. Once he and Kopi connect, they are going to be very scary especially with a 2nd line of Richards, Carter and even Toffoli and the way the 3rd line has been playing, they will be a huge threat.

That is why I feel the Kings were winners still at the trade deadline because they didn't give up really much and got CLB to take half his salary too.
