i'll give this one last shot before giving up because it doesn't seem to be working.
the difference is not just in WHO he plays with but what role he's assigned. Plekanec's line's primary responsibility is defence. they'll get defensive zone starts and play against the opposition's top forwards. one a line with Galchenyuk, Vanek would play softer opposition and get some offensive zone starts.
