Because having three lines that can score could be beneficial to the team making it harder for the opposition to keep the offense in check?

I'm not saying it's doable, that remains to be proved, but having three lines that could produce would force the opposition to choose who they'll cover. Not many teams can ice good enough lines to play against three lines that produce.

A big reason of the success last year, in my opinion, was that the Habs had three lines that could score. That was before Eller got dummied by Gryba.

- Jean_Perron

This would be two lines that produce - our idea that is. At present, it's still one line that will produce.

Vanek - Galchenyuk - Gallagher

I'd like to see Vanek without Gionta and I'd like to see Galchenyuk at C. 2 highly skilled guys and a grinder.

Sit Eller until he learns how to skate.

love the idea of Galch and Vanek together but maybe with a more responsible winger like Gionta or Prust.

GET HIM AWAY FROM GIONTA.

He needs a responsible winger like Gionta

And yes, I know the difference between Galchenyuk and Plek

Eller can skate. That's the one thing he can do. It's all that nasty stuff with the stick that gets him confused.

Habs have asked Gionta, Gallagher, Bouillon and Briere to get to the Bell Centre early today to avoid being buried during the snowstorm.

Gonna use my brother's Gamecenter account and listen to Pierre, while watching the feed from NESN. Hmm...it's Wednesday night - could be on NBCSN and no Jack!!
