The problem is Plekanec plays mostly defensive assignments against top lines from other teams. And Gionta is playing with him (that's my biggest issue).

Same here, the guy does worse than nothing offensively, he is a detriment at this point. Useless on the rush, on the boards, yet somehow is always the guy carrying the (frank)ing puck.
