I sometimes wonder about these so called "Germans" especially in my home town.

My Dad's side I know are Germans, as there is some heritage there.

On my mom's side not so much, and her maiden name ends in 'man', also her siblings and their kids have traits similar to Jews.

I wonder if they were German Jews that fled persecution.

yes. but they could finish with the 7th best record and face Pittsburgh. i still don't think the playoffs are a given at this point though.

if they were gonna go this route with the 4 divisions, they should have just (frank)ed right off with the wild card. wanna make the playoffs? finish top 4 in your division. otherwise, tough poop. if you miss the playoffs while a team with fewer points in the other division makes it? boo hoo.
