Eller is a mess, lost confidence, he's lost on the ice
- Symba007

The guy had 2 decent months and 1 really good month of hockey in the past 4 years... Maybe he's just never going to live up to the hype.

I don't expect to see Dubnyk in Montreal if Price can't play this week, but the coaches better be more willing to see what Tokarski can offer them. Peter Budaj is way off his game right now, and that didn't matter as much before last week.

Then they acquired him for what reason?

To take Tokarski's place in Hamilton?

....doesn't make any sense.

- pete26

sure it does. they acquired him because Price is out, and if Budaj or Tokarski goes down while they're filling in, what do they have behind them?
They don't need Dubnyk up here.

If my buddy Grapes mangles "Luongo", he's going to hurt himself trying to pronounce "Stroumboulopoulos." All the best, @strombo!

Yeah, I have an issue with that as well.

the statistical difference between Bourque pre-concussion vs. Bourque post-concussion is astounding.

he had some laziness in his game, he was inconsistent like goalscorers are, but he was a much better player than his today.

It was a mistake to acquire him back then, and it's a mistake to keep him on this team.

why would you not let Plekanec centre that line at least for 5 or 6 games?

Because EE doesn;t like it.

Honestly, I think Plek can be a 65/70 points per season player with a quality wingers.
