I agree, which is why I now wear one...but others don't see it that way, or have other priorities...or are just clueless...but that's their choice, I let them be. - TouenneTiiTree
I'm glad you wear one as I remember you being very handsome. |

Sometimes though, I get the feeling he's trying to fix what isn't broken...and sticking with what doesn't work for too long... - TouenneTiiTree
Thing is that people want to see Galchenyuk with Vanek when both play LW. Gionta is a RW.
People make it look easy sometimes when it's not. Unless Vanek can play RW, I don't know.
Galchenyuk could also wake up Eller. |

I know he wants to shelter Chucky and all...but (frank), let him play centre already...he'll be (frank)ing 30 and the Habs will still be saying they're polishing his game...

he plays both wings but mostly played LW lately because most of his centres were right handed. |

I do it sometimes. But I find that the slap shots usually isn't the one that gets you. It's that little wrist shot that nails you in just the right place. Doesn't have to be a hard shot. Just has to hit the right spot. - hscesq
Guy in my Sunday league keeps complaining about slapshots, and to prove his point that slappers were dangerous he posted the Marc Staal injury one on the Facebook group accompanied with words of wisdom such as:
est-ce que vous vous en rappeler de sa ?! Moi oui pi sa me tente pas ... Pu de slap shot
The guy wears a semi-visor and is scared of losing his teeth, so I told him he might want to consider wearing a mouth guard or a full cage. I could understand if we were an old timer's league, but we're all in our 20s. If you position yourself well and don't do the flamingo, you won't get injuried from a slapshot.

Agree, he should be a centre by now. Eller had his chances. |

With a coach as stubborn as Therrien I am sure Vanek can not wait to move on. I think he would prefer the isles over the habs, at least he had two linemates who were up to speed. Minnesota bound for Vanek E5 |

He better become a top six center soon or Therrien is going to ruin the kid. If not for the play of Carey Price through 60 games this team would not even be in the playoffs. They still have enough time to miss them anyway, a couple key injuries, lousy line combinations, no starting goalie,,,,,,,, Budaj is proving he is a good backup but can not handle the pressure of a number one. |

He's a dummy for many reasons, like getting married a second time, smoking, being terrible at directions...But yes, it is ridiculous to not have your face covered by a full shield or cage in a beer league. - hscesq
I have no problem if people want to play with a semi-visor, but be aware of the risks and live with them. |

I'm afraid I have to agree...why would a goal-scorer want to sign with the habs? He's not gonna score goals, and it's not like he's sacrificing goals and stats for a REAL shot at the cup... I just don't see it.
Maybe there's a reason no one chooses MTL in free agency... |
