Changed your view on Bourque, I see...
- Pecafan Fan

Well, at least he's got it right... NOW.

Probably the best line he ever wrote: "As for Bourque... it's enough already. He's done an immaculate job proving that he can't help the team win."

BTW, I agree that he's a total loser...
- Pecafan Fan

I guess it wasn't the best way of putting it, cuz I still believe some part of him won't allow himself to take it over the edge due to severity of concussions he's suffered, but he just can't seem to redeem himself in any way.

It's over.

That lineup would look good.

Pac - DD - Vanek

EGG

Moen - Plek - Gio

Bournival - White - Prust (I'd rather Prust over Weise)

Tinordi - Subban
Markov - Beaulieu
Gorges - Weaver

Having too many bodies is a good problem to have.

- hon_hon_hon

1) 67 - 51 - 11
2) 20 - 27 - 48
3) 49 - 14 - 21
4) 8 - 81 - 53/22/32

if 48 falters then switch 2) and 4) for 8-27-20 and 32-81-53/22...and if 81 falters, switch 4) for 32-53-22

you make it seem like this wasn't an issue with Bourque before the concussions.

I don't expect to see Dubnyk in Montreal if Price can't play this week, but the coaches better be more willing to see what Tokarski can offer them. Peter Budaj is way off his game right now, and that didn't matter as much before last week.

Then they acquired him for what reason?

To take Tokarski's place in Hamilton?

....doesn't make any sense.

Well, it does... if it cost them nothing.

The future considerations might as well be Dubnyk himself at the end of the season.

if they don't, buy him out, and live with the cap consequences. too much of a loser to keep around for no reason.
- EricEngels

thought the canadiens had used their 2 compliance buyouts. so you mean a buyout a la georgie laraque.

as stated many times, this team and therriens survival has rested on carey price. if he comes back strong, they could make some noise. if not, game over. as for our d, don't like them as a corp. they back in so deep always allowing those grade a scoring chances. no one stands up to forwards coming into the zone. weak.

i think Plekanec and Vanek can work. just not on a line with Gionta. you're not going to have an effective second line with Gionta. you're better off playing Vanek on a line with Eller and Galchenyuk.

that's why he mentioned cap consequences. there are no consequences with compliance buy outs.

I agree, Gionta is not the same player he was a couple years ago. Time to move him down the line up and let the kids take over.
