i agree we keep the picks..and pray they work out....and i don't think Murray would want to get into any sort of bidding war any way... he mapped out his direction very clearly and its draft and futures ...as much as i like Tavares i doubt they would go hard after a trade for him

I honestly don't see us getting the top pick in 2015 unless they win the lottery. I see them as 9-10 in the east as moves will be made in the offseason. We will have a semi superstar via trade come the draft.

Agreed. But a "suck for 2015 1st rounder" plan needs more predictability than "can't compete on a nightly basis". It needs a "worst team in the league without rival" and even then you don't get a gamblers bet of winning the lottery.
