he has been very good since nolan took over and great the last few games.
- IndianaSabresFan

He's allowed to carry the puck up ice now. Rolston wouldn't let him do that. Didn't want the D to do that, which is dumb when you have guys like Myers and Ehrhoff on your backend.

I am going to come out today and say Sam Reinhart is going to be close to if not what John Tavares is.

What seems to make Reinhart so special from everything that I'm seeing, is his hockey sense. He always seems to be in the right place, at the right time, and makes the right move. Any time I hear a scout talk about him, they all say how smart of a player he is.

Yep, he plays a fairly calculated game which is a little odd for someone his age (not that I'm complaining). I know everyone wants McDavid/Eichel (and admittedly I would as well) but I would be comfortable with Reinhart as our #1 for the future.

When I read (reed) the scouting reports for Reinhart and Tavares I see so many similarities. The Hocky IQ, the supreme passing, the vision, the leadership, the difficulty it takse to knock them off the puck. Hell they are the same damn size coming into the draft, 6'1 ~180lbs

used it as more of a guide than anything. I don't see him as Stamkos, Tavares and etc. but more in the Kopitar, Staal, Richards class

we just need another elite type winger.. which we can probably get with the 2015 pick if it isn't one of the two you mention. but with Reinhart, ennis and Hodge i think we would be alright at center. just need better wingers

THats more accurate. JT imo is a much better scorer. TO me when JT has the puck I worry about JT when reinhardt has it have to worry about those who are around you

IN theory I agree, but the top end of 2015 are centers

If we get the Isles pick Dal Colle and Perlini are viable options.

Wasted time for useless stats:

Miller in 3 games with STL faced an average of 21 shots per game. In 40 games with Buffalo, he had 4 periods where he faced 20 shots or more. In 24 of 40 games he had at least one period where he faced 15 shots or more. He played 118 periods and faced 15 shots or more 30 times, or 25.4% of the time.

Also thought it was interesting that he hasn't had a shutout since March 21, 2012. Even Enroth has had one since then.

Sorry to interrupt.
