Exactly. I think part of why people didn't notice that so much the last few years he was here was because he played on a line with Pominville who was willing to up and down the ice and play defense.

For the assets it would take to acquire someone like Tavares, why not just continue the rebuild and just draft first overall and hope your player turns out to be the same.

There would be a bidding war for him, something the Sabres should not do.

(BTW Reinharts scouting profile is very sililar to Tavares, and they are about the same size too)
