Thoughts on macdonald last night?
- funmaster18

It's only one game, but I really liked what I saw. Makes smart plays with the puck. Doesn't panic, has the agility and mobility to buy a little time and make a good outlet. And has good wheels. I think it was a great trade.

Yeah he was decent I thought. NBC actually had a nice little package of McD making smart defensive plays during the 2nd intermission I believe.

Yeah you're definitely not in the minority feeling that way.
For a professional creative like me though it's absolute visual candy from frame to frame.

He looked solid. The usage was perfect, and he played solid and unspectacular hockey.

Same. Pleasantly surprised given some of the chatter after the trade. He looked ready to jump up on the rush too. If his play holds up then the defense feels stronger with him over Mezsaros. Seems much stronger 2 way than the Mez of late. I really liked mez too. Shame he had all those injuries.

Yeah back when it came out young people packed theaters with altered minds eager to drink in that last visual sequence.

The real amazing thing about 2001 though is just how avant-garde and ahead of its time it was.

The things us computer kids take for granted. Pretty soon we'll be downloading our drugs and complaining they're boring too.

Yeah usage was the key... in the 4 or 5 slot, I think he can be terrific. I just don't want him either getting played or getting paid as a top pair guy.
