You could take a alien plop them down in front of a tv football is 100x easier for them to follow. When I lived in Kentucky was always told its to hard to follow hockey lose site of the puck too many rules etc.

I am one of the biggest hockey fans around, but I can tell you if the Bills are on a playoff run, no one will really care about the Sabres until after the Bills season is over. Trust me, I have seen it. The Sabres are Buffalo's second team and that will never change. Football is King in Buffalo and to hear anyone act like they are an afterthought is frankly kind of shocking.

Put it this way. Say for some catastrophic reason both the Bills and the Sabres lose their team to relocation. The bigger news nationally would be that the Bills are moving, and it wouldn't even be close.

I doubt Stewart is going to use the fact that the worst team in the league traded him just a few days after acquiring him as bulletin board material. I just don't see it.

Murray should be fired if Moulson is still here at 3:01...there it is the first Fire Murray blast. I just don't see him re-signing here as a FA so they will lose him for nothing and he makes your team better for the last 20+ games which we don't want! Seems he already blundered the Halak situation so I'm just hoping he does better with Moulson.

Football is by far the best sport in all aspects tv etc. but on your point yes it appears that people would only focus on the Bills if in a playoff push but its one day so when you have the sabres playing 3 games a week the interst level is spread out where the Bills play SUnday the one day they play a week. For the Sabres there is always a game tomorrow or the day after etc.

Of course we watched the games. ALL the focus in town was on the Bills. Maybe someday you will see it. I saw it from 88-94. Oct, Nov, Dec hockey was not that big a deal compared to your team having a shot at going to the Superbowl.
