That's all I had. Bad post. I figured I'd blame Canada.

They will all be back. It's called being a fair weather fan.
- Jerry1964

I'm still here, it's not like I'm wearing a Seahawks jersey or anything like that.

Lets put it this way... I took today off of work for the trade deadline. If the NFL draft was today I'd be at work. 5 years ago it would be considered.

But on the other hand ive seen the arena jam packed the plaza jammed packed bars jammed with hopes of a cup

I think sports in general has changed in peoples lives since the turn of the century, its much more at the forefront then the late eighties

- hubie

Of course, the were winning. That is the bottom line. This all started by Mr Hat saying the Bills don't sell out all their games. My point was, if they win they will sell out.

I think Russia might disagree with you on Hockey being Americana .Agree with you about the puck altho I think Hi Def has made it worlds easier to now see the puck.Anyways I was a huge NFL fan back in the 80 and 90 s but after finding hockey back around 97 Ive found there is no better sport in the world.84 plus games of the best and toughest players in the world fighting to have their names immortalized for all time on one single trophy.Maybe Indy is the only sport similar.Football has become water downed and as boring as baseball in the US.Spoiled players whos total season might amount to a playoff run in hockey.Just my opinion but Football doesn't hold a candle to hockey in excitement.

Hockey games can get just as boring, especially when the trap is involved. The US-Canada Olympic game a few weeks ago was great for the rivalry, but I doubt it got many new fans into the game.

You must be Canadian. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
- Jerry1964

You'd be wrong.

did you feel this way when you were first starting getting into hockey? Hockey is very regionalised. Cincy has the Cyclones after the Ducks folded and could never hold a higher level than that. Its an area where the first question your asked is where did you go to highschool and did you play football there.

McKenzie saying Sens might be on Hemsky. That would probably mean no Stewart.

as long as they are not mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs they will sell out.

Or its not supporting a damaged product that continues to show how inept it is.

I still watch, I just don't invest as much. If they lose, I do not care.

Agreed.
Just the amount of thugs and criminals that have surfaced while playing in the NFL has been enough to make me turn it off the past few years.

While part of me understands the sentiment, the other part of me wonders if it's just thinly veiled racism. That being said, I hate the NBA, but love the college game.

Personally, what turns me off about the NFL is the attitude. They're the biggest sports product in the country by far, and they know it. They can do just about anything and fans will still watch, buy their products, etc. without even thinking about it.

No I am with him. I am 27 the Bills have been a laughing stock for more than half of my life.

Plus the NFL has so many rules that I no longer know what is a catch, what is a touchdown, what is possesion, what a penalty is. The officials dont even know what the rules are anymore.

Everything takes forever with reviews in the NFL. If I didnt play fantasy I would not care at all, IMO.

- ImThatGuy

I've hated the Bills since the late 80's... When they were good.
Always been a Bears fan.
Used to love the Bills when they had Joe Cribbs and Joe Ferguson.

We shouldn't have to, if guys are moved today. My guess is that someone minor is moved and if they claim him it will be right after
