You must be a young person.
- Jerry1964

Haha, I'm 47 years old with 6 children (3 boys 3 girls) and my youngest is going to be 15.
Care to reassess?
Funniest thing I have read thus far today.
Thank you for the laugh however.
I've seen it all Jerry.
I've been around the block and I've been behind the woodshed.
I just don't buy the Bills lies anymore.
That's your choice if you wish to continue to.
They have to earn my loyalty back for me to even think about spending one cent on them any longer.

I'm close to that point. I used to obsess over them like I do with the Sabres. Now I'm more of a hockey fan and it's by a long shot

I could give 2 sh!ts about the Bills or the NFL for that matter.
- dadeadhead

I'm getting there myself Head, the players just get more annoying and the commercials seem more important to the NFL than the actual games.
Got more into college ball this season and loved it.

OK and all of yesterday we heard BUffalo was "asking" for way more than what teams were willing to give up.
- ImThatGuy

And how do you know that he doesn't have solid offers on the table for Moulson right now ? Maybe he is waiting until this afternoon to see if someone will become desperate if they lose out on Vanek, Cam, etc

Doesn't the entire plan span over a couple of years?
- buffalofan19

It does.
It begins with the 'front door'.

If the Bills are worth being taken seriously, you'll be back. Especially if the Sabres continue in their current state.

@JSportsnet: Inside Sabre front office, they are not fully confident that Stewart, Halak and Moulson will move today...asking prices are high.

The NHL trade deadline is like watching the World Series of Poker...being broadcast from outside a closed door where the game is actually being played.

Of course we watched the games. ALL the focus in town was on the Bills. Maybe someday you will see it. I saw it from 88-94. Oct, Nov, Dec hockey was not that big a deal compared to your team having a shot at going to the Superbowl.
- Jerry1964

But on the other hand ive seen the arena jam packed the plaza jammed packed bars jammed with hopes of a cup

I think sports in general has changed in peoples lives since the turn of the century, its much more at the forefront then the late eighties

Agreed.
Just the amount of thugs and criminals that have surfaced while playing in the NFL has been enough to make me turn it off the past few years.

No I am with him. I am 27 the Bills have been a laughing stock for more than half of my life.

Plus the NFL has so many rules that I no longer know what is a catch, what is a touchdown, what is possesion, what a penalty is. The officials dont even know what the rules are anymore.

Everything takes forever with reviews in the NFL. If I didnt play fantasy I would not care at all, IMO.

Or its not supporting a damaged product that continues to show how inept it is.

I still watch, I just don't invest as much. If they lose, I do not care.

You could take a alien plop them down in front of a tv football is 100x easier for them to follow. When I lived in Kentucky was always told its to hard to follow hockey lose site of the puck too many rules etc.

Football is Americana

- hubie

I think Russia might disagree with you on Hockey being Americana .Agree with you about the puck altho I think Hi Def has made it worlds easier to now see the puck.Anyways I was a huge NFL fan back in the 80 and 90 s but after finding hockey back around 97 Ive found there is no better sport in the world.84 plus games of the best and toughest players in the world fighting to have their names immortalized for all time on one single trophy.Maybe Indy is the only sport similar.Football has become water downed and as boring as baseball in the US.Spoiled players whos total season might amount to a playoff run in hockey.Just my opinion but Football doesn't hold a candle to hockey in excitement.

On another "note" the Ratdog show was pretty good last night. Weir was very good and his band mates were spot on.
Only one complaint, Shea's is an awesome theater but does not have the proper ventilation system for Pseudo Deadhead B.O. .....I know I'm older now but come on dudes take a freaking shower!
