I just got sick of seeing it mis-spelled. Ive seen a couple people try and make corrections very passively. I felt a forceful response was adequate at this point.

Maybe the trade deadline passing will calm Downie down. THe best case scenario for this team would be for him to regain his form from earlier this year. He's capable of playing well for this team. WHatever the reason behind his breakdown, he needs to move past it and look ahead.

If they really feel that he's the best option going forward, I at least hope they swap his spot with Raffl's.

Look, I don't root for him to fail. I hoped he'd come in, play well along the boards, and be a positive addition. And aside from those first few games, he's been pretty abysmal in all areas of the game. I hope he regains his form, but I don't have any confidence that will happen.

You can't just magically make a 14th forward appear out of thin air. Downie would have to be put on waivers in order for a forward to come up from the minors. If Downie is scratched. Rosehill plays. Do you not understand that the flyers are carrying 8 defensemen and 13 forwards this year?

At least they are well on the path to sucking for a few years....they cleared house pretty much and are going to build through the draft. hope they get lucky and land a superstar.

For all intensive purposes, the misspellings will keep happening irregardless of what we try, as people won't make a complete 360 degree change in their spelling all of the sudden.

I thought he was pretty good for a stretch of 10-15 games.

He needs to get back to playing the game. If I were the coaches, I would tell him to ignore everything else for now. I know part of his game is mixing it up and agitating the other team, but I want him to focus, exclusively, on the game at hand. No fighting, no talking. Just play and execute.

If they don't draft an impact players (and outside of Iverson, their record points more towards a Shawn Bradley/Evan Turner type), and all of this sucking is for nothing...any chance they'd be moved out? I know they're a deeply-rooted franchise, but how many year of 1/4 capacity can they or the NBA endure?

Going to have to use the farm system. Straka, Cousins, McGinn, Akeson. We have a little bit of talent down there. These guys could make the NHL on a lot of other teams that do not have the forward corps that the flyers do. The flyers just do not like to bring up scoring forwards and play them on the fourth line of the team.

I dont think the NBA would allow itself to lose that market. You never know I guess, if LA doesnt have an NFL team anything could happen
