maybe we could scoop up Daley who will be returning from injury mid March

37 years old, maybe get him for a reasonable price.

- Garnie

ah, he's had a couple stinkers...Islanders was a mix up between him and Rielly but I thought he bounced back against the Habs and played the puck well all night.

If we keep playing like we did against the Isle/Hab it will come...played better just had a couple bounces go in on us.

- Garnie

That seems to happen to us a lot, with he and JR in the net. Those are the ones that kill you in the playoffs.

I guess, not many goalies are going to stop those deflections...I think Bernier is the guy, let's just get to the playoffs 1st, 2nd, 8th,,,,don't matter.

Bernier is fine, I'm know we want the shorty that bounced off Rielly's skate back, but hey what do you do?

I think he can be the guy, he has to eliminate the dumb ones like that. And, there have been many of those.

Jonathan Bernier is a very good goaltender.

He's a bit on the small side at 5"11 (could have sworn he was smaller than that) and that's a considerable disadvantage against deflected shots but he's very talented.

He did split his very first season with Huet before we traded the frenchman to Washington.

This being said, Price's story is different than most goaltenders.

Yes, he does look smaller.

I think there are few guys who claim to be bigger then they are.

RC needs to figure out that he will constantly burn goalies out by constantly employing this D.

one of two things need to happen.

1: RC needs to adjust his philosphy for the players he has

or

2: Nonis needs to start moving guys out who simply are playing outside of their skill sets to try and play in RCs systems. Bring in guys who compliment the system.

Gunnarsson needs to stop being on your first D pairing....

I agree with Eric Engel's blog, he's as slow as it gets and it doesn't help Phaneuf at all.

He's had a hip problem for a while, and every off season they say he's going to get surgery, and then he doesn't.
