What I find insanely irritating is that Phaneuf got a penalty for giving a guy a shot after the whistle on Thursday... Shouldn't players like Chara be penalized after EVERY (frank)ING WHISTLE IF THIS IS THE CASE?

(This thought came about because I'm imagining Thornton taking Kessel's head off with no call, followed by Clarkson running over Krejci and getting a 10 game suspension.)

that was a terrible call. just brutal..... itsok for this guy to punch dion in the face, but dion gives right back and its a penalty?? (frank)ing brutal. take them both or let them alone. they both did the same thing but only one penalized?

He makes 1.8 now..I'm sure he will be looking for a 1/2mil + raise from his new team

His cap hit is indeed 1.8

#Leafs Dave Bolland not expected to play in Monday's game at the ACC vs Columbus. This will be his 48th missed game. He is expected to return soon, but doesn't feel he is at 100% and remains listed as "day to day." Here are his comment's:

"It's sort of a slow mountain climb for me this whole rehab. It's been painful and slow and grueling. I'm ready to get back on the ice as soon as possible. I don't want to be a liability out there when transition comes around and I'm the one that's last getting back and I can't back-check because of my ankle. I want to be sure that when I'm out there I'm going at a 100 per cent and I'm ready to play."
