So we played about 10 good minutes tonight. I really hate seeing an effort like this, when you see Riemer playing his @$$ off! At least it made him look good, if someone's looking for a goaltender. I hope he does get traded, because he deserves to play somewhere. Carlyle has mishandled him and it ticks me off. - PrinceLH
CBJ sat back towards end and the Leafs got a little push...Had a solid 1st but than fell apart..I guess all the Jackets had to do was weather the 1st..
Rags Wed certainly wont be a easy game..tough road trip coming this could get ugly.. |

Totally disagree. If you think that you're getting a 25 minute per night, top defender (who plays insane SH time, as well) for 5.5 mil, you're crazy.
The only comparable is J-Bo, but until this year, he was a total plug. People would have thought it absurd to give him anything near 5+ a couple years ago.
Girardi sets a pretty good market value (though, he might have gotten more as a UFA). He gets 5.5 mil going forward. Phaneuf is a better defender. - Leeman4Gilmour
JBo was not a total plug until this year.

He needs starts to get into a rhythm. Time is running out. Carlyle better get at least one guy going or we're toast.
I'd say Reimer earned another start. .939 sv%, 2.00 GA tonight compared to .862 and 4.50 GAA for Bernier since the break. |

Its funny you say that. One we don't know what Dion would have got for sure, he never hit the open market. Two, Calgary surely would not have, they weren't too pleased with what he got last time which was less... He's having a good year, lets hope he doesn't fade and can keep it it up for another 7 years. |

Jbo was great until he got to Calgary. To me 7 million is too much for phaneuf. I like him, but I would like him more a 6 million and playing in the number two spot.
But as you are about to point out, we have no one right now to play the number one spot.
He simply plays too many minutes |

His time in Calgary was a total bust. He was pretty much run our the door by the end. His 6.8 million dollar price tag didn't help, either.
But he never cracked 30 points once, and was a -38 in his 3.5 seasons there. |

I could just say you hate him so you are obviously oblivious to what he brings, much like you are with the leafs in general. |

As a back up, I'm sure in the next 19 games reimer will get another game in.
But bernier is the number 1 so he'll get the bulk |

Wouldn't be surprised if it comes down right to the last game to qualify. One awesome line, good (sometimes great) goaltending and a so-so defence. My only hope is that Nonis shows some mercy and trades Reimer. |

It really isn't that Robin. If it was, fair enough. People, yourself included make him out to be absolutely useless. Any loss, Dion's fault. Regardless of the fact that only one line ever shows up. How much poop does John Tavares get? E. Staal? Shane Doan? Weber? |

Flames were dying a slow death that whole time.
I watched him often and couldn't get over how he just covered so much ice and ate minutes efficiently.
Like I said, they crapped on him cause they expected miracles.

Please Get Daley right now. And who ever the (frank) said that Clarkson needs to be on the second line can just (frank) off. I watched him all game and he sucks Richard. He is worth 2 mil maybe. Bodie can do the exact same thing as him for about 4 mil less. Put him on the 3rd line where he belongs. Huh I have another idea for Nonuts how about we give Bolland 5 mil for 8 years and Komarov 4 mil for 7 years lets resign extend Lupul till he's 50, pay Franson #1 D money. And Nonis is pretty good at drafting 4th liners in the first round so how about we give McLement 8 years and then get Biggs on that line too. (frank)ing Bulpoop. Nonis is a (frank)ing disgrace. Like what the (frank) are the Leafs even going to make the playoffs. If they do the other team will just shut down the #1 line and we will be (frank)ed. Oh and one more idea how about we go get O'Bryne. That's Nonis's idea of a blockbuster trade. Sorry but I am so pissed. |

Every time they get close to trading Reimer, Bernier falters.
I'm sure they'd love to trade him, but they just don't have enough faith in Bernier yet. They're in a very tricky situation here. You can't go trading young talent until you're sure you don't need it. |
