it does, because the chance of someone on the Leafs doing the same thing to Bergeron are pretty much non-existent. - vermie22
Mmmm, saw Clarkson go after and hit both Crosby and Malkin during a Pens game. |

They have Devane waiting in the wings, he actually can play a little, Broll as well. - LeafMan
I was actually pretty impressed with both, in limited appearances. Can actaully play the game a bit. |

hows that? - burn
I agree with you. Nothing anyone can do at the end of a bench. However, if Thorton were to return to the ice I think it would be naïve to think that the next guy off the Leafs bench wouldn't be Orr/McLaren for the payback. They would seek and destroy the next chance they got. |

They do next year...My guess Buf prefers that as it's supposed to be a better draft isn't. it??. |

Scrivezna signed!!!!

RFA - does that mean just a 10% increase from previous contract?
Then JR will be under $2M - he will want more than Scrivens |

As long as you have someone to fight with the other teams goon, we are fine. Keep the goons, fighting goons.. We want guys that can handle themselves, well rounded players. - bixll
Not a fan of Ashton....yet, not saying I won't be in the future.
I think Brodie is a better option. |

I don't get it. I thought one of the reasons they were successful last year was they got pretty tough. Now they seem to be abandoning that. What for? |

Just saying, it is a risk I would take as a coach..but a coach I am not...so it doesn't really matter...also I was not saying that as a coach I would instruct Thornton to take a run at kessel no matter what...just send him out knowing the line would be too tired to mount any real offensive attack, and to tell him to watch for an opportunity. |

If you want a right hand shot, I rather just bring up Granberg. |

It doesn't. At all, which I was trying to say in my original response but with now confusing two people I understand I worded that response wrong. |
