Wouldn't hurt if a 7M defenceman could block a shot. Habs tying goal Sat. night shouldn't have made it to the net, Leafs D suck, it starts with the lack of leadership.
- sloppyseconds2

HA!
Imagine this team without ph9 on it....
Fans would be talking about lottery pick rather then playoff spot.

I'm pretty sure their PK specialist fwd with the A on his sweater made sure he was out of the way of that missile too...

Leafs dropped 5 spots and are 20th in the TSN latest power rankings. Montreal a whopping 3 points ahead of the Leafs moved up to 9th.

Monkeys spinning a wheel? What are the leafs overall in pts for the league? Yeah 20th.

All I'm saying he needs to set an example as captain, have never seen the guy lay down and take a shot for Toronto,

Nope. Just proof TSN loves the Leafs. It's sickening. They should really be 26th
- walshyleafsfan

I laugh when people say the leafs are favoured by tsn and CBC ect. Yeah right.

Bit of a surprise Leafs didn't call up Peter Holland with Bolland not able to play tonight. Looks like we'll see some Trevor Smith at centre

He has a 114 blocked shots this year for 21st in the league - ahead of guys like Kronwall, Vlasic, Suter, McDonagh, Bieska, Seabrook, Orpik, Subban and many more.....
He also has 175 hits, 14th overall in the NHL....so not sure what you are getting at - the guy gives up his body for the Leafs.

They should be low. Their best player is only the 43rd best in the NHL.

Yeah you wouldn't want the guy with the .925 save% starting.

Does anyone actually watch Yandle play?. Some say he's good defensively, some say he is not.

Those rankings would likely be different now.

And tsn didn't do those... It was coaches and gm's

I don't see him play much but he is -19 and Gardiner is -4 and you know how bad Gardiner is defensively. That dose not mean he is bad defensively though I don't see him play much and even when I see a Leafs Vs Phoenix game I don't focus on watching how Yandle is defensively...+/- is just a stat so I cannot make my decision based on that...Example: That is like saying Tim Gleason is bad defensively just because he is a -7 this season.

Wouldn't be surprised if they weren't. It's not like he's just burst on the scene. He's had the most points out of any NHL player over the last 3 years.

I would give the game to Reimer. In the two games after the break so far Bernier has not quite been the same IMO. He just seems different. Reimer has not played in a while so I would get him in there and let him play. Who knows putting Reimer in might piss of Bernier and make Bernier play better. It doesn't really mater right now, put Sparks in and it wouldn't mater. The Leafs need to be better defensively.
