If I was the coach of an opposing team, I would wait for the Kessel line to be near the end of a shift, preferably one they were stuck in their own end for...then if a change is possible, send Thorton out there with the explicit instruction to seek and destroy, or at least get a piece.

That dude just looks so top heavy and slow when I watch him. Technically OK skater just doesn't have any agility. Not a lot of hope for him I'd say.

Not the greatest fighter but he will bang and crash, his skating is really improving working with Underhill. It is all about getting in on the cycle and making it difficult on the opposition D. Battle along the walls to get pucks out in the D zone.
