i said he never was a full fledged backup.. at best he was a part of a 1A / 1B tandem

the least amount of games he ever started in a season was 39

so please.. stop with the "he was a full time back up" bullpoop.

it's not bullpoop. He was relegated to backup for the last part of the season, through to the playoffs. Of the last 18 games that year, Halak played 15, Price played 3. Playoffs, pretty similar. That's what, 30 some games to 7 games. Who was the backup in the last 40 games including playoffs? How can anyone possibly argue he didn't lose the starting job? It's absolute insanity to claim he didn't. Do you not remember that year?

The statement that he took the starting job from Huet and never looked back is absolutely ridiculous. The only way that's true is when he wasn't looking back, he was staring at the ass of Halak as starter while he looked forward.

i said that comparing carey price to bernier isnt something you can do.. price may of lost the job towards the end of the year.. ONCE.. but that m3eans he got the majority of the starts At the top of the year.

bernier never once had the majority of the starts in LA.
