Of course not.

But Lou's post included JVR, so we were clearly talking outside the top 5 as well.

guy is 30.

season before the lockout he had 84 points in 80 games.

the 4 seasons prior to that he averaged 70 games a season.

he's played 56 of 61 games this season.

what are you talking about?!?

Ottawa never trading him to the leafs would have been a much better angle.

- joel878

last year: missed 39 games
2010-11 - missed 20 games
2009-10: missed 22 games
2006-07: missed 15 games
2005-06: missed 14 games

1: we dont need a top 6 centre

2: in carlyle's play the body first game he wouldnt last a week.

It will be interesting to see how many players are wanting to go to Vancouver, with the type of treatment Lou is getting. I bet it hurts the club long term.

Yup. Or close to it.

Top 5 is probably something like this, in no particular order

Karlsson
Kessel
Price
Subban
Sedin twins

- Scabeh

that's 6

I'd say Kessel/JVR/Bernier/Phaneuf/Subban

Kessel/Price that's it

I couldn't come with 5

Top 10, I think JVR and him make it, it was just other considerations.

Yup, that's what I understood as well.

And yes, JVR and Pacioretty are both easily in the top 10.

We're just waiting for it to start any moment now.
