Agreed. Cut Nilsson a little slack. He's still a rookie. We've barely seen him play in the NHL. He should play the majority of the games for the rest of the year, but no way Cappy plays him.

Young goalie or not, you have to find a way to beat the Panthers at home with a two goal lead in the third. I'm not seeing anything to think Nilsson is the "goalie of the future". I saw more from Poulin and he was shaky the last couple of starts.

Never have I seen a player so dejected then him walking to the locker room.

Neither rookie goalies are the future they both are atrocious. Goaltending is the #1 reason we are where we are this year. Defense is second.
