The trouble with McGinn is, he doesn't provide energy half the time he's dressed. He'll score a goal, then go three in a row without a shot on goal.

The PK hasn't been bad at all. It's just that Talbot was pretty responsible defensively. Downie is a loose cannon. I believe 2 goals in a 41 game stretch is the worst of his career. He was acquired to add offense. He hasn't done it. I know he's been injured, but for the most part he hasn't played well.

Its why the Rangers lost yesterday.

He hasn't been razor sharp, but it could easily be 4-1 without him. No chance on the two goals that are on the board. Lousy defense and screened by Schenn on 1st one, Grossmann busy standing still and leaving Cap forward alone on doorstep on second.
