Rangers and Knicks: shaping up to be a not very good spring for MSG residents.

All of these angles lead to the main issue - questions about his ability to stick with the team going into next season, and if he couldn't make the team, Bowman would risk losing him for nothing on a waiver claim.

If you're looking for an angle, or a different way to read it, maybe the organization feels that Teravainen is ready enough to step in now, or at the start of next season. Look at tonight's tweets about him after the Pirri trade went down.

I do not know that giving anyone at Rockford a more meaningful role hereafter really makes the particular player better insofar as being "better" prepared for an injury role usage in the NHL playoffs. That being said, my underlying thought is how much better might Nordstrom be in a defensive role should he be called upon due to injuries? He has played about one year pro hockey in North America and has an idea what is required of him. Nordstrom has learned a thing or two from his cup of coffee in Chg and while at Rockford.

Yup, I read that. But it's still 2 mid round picks and that's about what you'd expect. This years 3rd round pick will almost be a second round pick the way Florida will finish.

Actually it's nine. They have one pick in every round and an extra pick in the third and fifth. Seven rounds plus the two extras give us nine.

Well Bowman can gamble with the proverbial home run or miss draft picks this year. Project type label on some prospects? Why not. No one drafted this 2014 draft will play any time soon in the NHL anyways.

For those who kept the dream alive....a dream of giving Brandon Pirri an undeserving chance...who failed to see that he had as much of a two way game as my 89 year old grandma.....those dreamers who thought he added so much value to the Hawks and their depth....for those who thought he might get Calder votes after a flurry of goals in his first few games....for those who thought the AHL scoring title means anything.....for those who thought AHL All star MVP means anything....for those who thought he was the future 2C for the Hawks.....I give you this.

The 2016 pick is just an extra....the real value was to get a 3rd rounder for a player who couldn't keep a roster spot. Pirri will play in Florida and should score some.

........and for those who would like to join me. Never again will we have to deal with page after page of discussing the reasons why the future journeyman Brandon Pirri deserved a chance....with a stanley cup contending team......it's time to celebrate.....it's f'n over!!!!!!!!

F'n TB - late bad angle Avs goal on Bishop - 4-3 Avs.

Coyotes got hosed. Down 3-2 with two min left and yandle makes a nice move around a d man and gets tripped up and no call. Blues go the other way and score to make it 4-2. This one's over.
