I would not want see it every game, but for an event like last night I kinda liked it. Made it feel a little more like you were there, rather than watching on the tube.

I am not sure if it was the wind moving it around which I suspect was part of the promise, but, no. I wouldn't mind that angle if it was stable. You can see the play develop. There were a couple of time I grabbed onto the arm of the couch.

Loving the look back to the 94 Canucks on this Heritage classic HNIC pre game.I was living out west then and that team will always have a place in my heart.Too bad that franchise lost their way.But I have no problem that they celebrate that era as the high water mark,they can pound salt now!

I'm not one to fan the trade flames, especially for a move anything beyond an extra depth defenseman or a Marcel Goc-like extra center, but the Hossa injury does pose an interesting possiblity: placing Hoss on LTIR for the 10 game minimum would allow them to add a slightly larger salary than they could before yesterday.

EDIT: The Caps third period melt-down today was something to behold.

Placing Hossa on LTIR would allow them to add a $5.5M salary, but only for the time that Hossa is on LTIR. Hossa couldn't come back while the added player is still on the roster and, since the new CBA won't let contracts be buried in the AHL, the Hawks would have no way to get rid of the acquired player. Unless Hossa is going to be out for the rest of the regular season, this is not an option.
