The guy took a number 1 for Schneider and was clearly the loser. Do you think he can do that again without a king's ransom going back? Particularly to the hated Blackhawks.

I think Kesler ends up a Penguin, Redwing, or Bruin. They have better top tier prospect depth to trade along with some roster players Gillis would want.

Kesler is a D bag the Hawks could use though. If only Gillis had been fired already.

I don't tink it is too unrealistic at all. Personally I would like to trade for someone a lot younger, but it does make sense. It would take TT, though. But KeSler isn't a rental. He is here until 2016. His cap hit is only 5 million so if you trade Bickell in the deal we could still afford Toews and Kane. It is really the splash I can see them doing. Plus with Kane campaigning for him that really is big
