My guess is that Murray didn't consult Lafontaine for the Miller trade and Patty is pissed now so he's stepping down... If so what a horrible mess the organization has just got themselves into....

Myers is a #1 guy. He needs a competent partner. Not Mike Weber.

I suppose we just have a different view of what constitutes a number one d-man. I believe that number ones will elevate the play of the partner, no matter the skill level, and will in fact make that player look better because they take up the slack for the mistakes made. I'm not saying Mike Weber is a great d-man, but it's not his fault that Myers has struggled some what.

Whether you come to the blog or not we can still laugh at how much of a mess the canucks are.

I suppose we just have a different view of what constitutes a number one d-man. I believe that number ones will elevate the play of the partner, no matter the skill level, and will in fact make that player look better because they take up the slack for the mistakes made. Stop. Mike Weber is an AHL defensemen and Myers has made him look semi competent at times. It's obvious you haven't watched the Sabres, not that I blame you but Myers has been the teams best player besides Miller. On a team that possesses the puck more and has a competent forward group Myers would be having a stand out year

He is susceptible to getting caught chasing and making errant plays that hurt his team. I'm not saying he is bad, average or mediocre, I just don't agree with you in that he is a number one defenseman. Agree to disagree, I suppose.
