I think Murray has been clear about one thing through this whole process... like the time when Ottawa sent Fisher to Nashville, he believes in sending those who are "good soldiers" to teams offering value AND the player is most comfortable going there. This will serve him well in the future as the team becomes competitive and begins to attract FA talent 2-3 years down the road. I heard through the grapevine that Murray actually tried to send Miller home to Detroit, but they simply weren't willing to offer more than Howard straight up. Whether that story was true or not, I believe Murray will try to send Moulson to the Kings to reunite him with his sister and brother-in-law (Quick). I don't know who Murray will want in return, but I hope his initials are TT. On another note, wondering if there is still a deal there to be had between Sabres and Blackhawks? Sabres may have interest in Bryan Bickell... Stafford or D'Agostini could be a part of package deal. I also believe that Tim Murray really wants to make a deal with his uncle in Ottawa, so as much as I'd like to see the Sabres hold on to Stewart and see what Nolan can do with him... I think Murray trades him to the Senators.

No clue. Just what I'm hearing out here. My guess is, if Kuemper continues to play like he has, there's no need to go looking for a #1 goalie. Plus, Backstrom is unfortunately signed for another 2 seasons after this and cannot be bought out (compliance).
If the price tag was similar between Brodeur and Halak, then I'd have no clue why the Wild would still prefer Brodeur.

If Kuemper does falter and Brodeur has to play. It could be a sketchy situation for an otherwise strong Minnesota team.

So not sure moving out Zibanajad, Lehner, picks and prospects and picking up salary, not to mention a UFA in Moulson makes any sense whatsoever... but kinda hope I am wrong, Sens desperate for a shake-up.

Wild is still a year or 2 from being more than a fringe playoff team, with or without Halak. I personally, would like to see Halak coming here. So long as it isn't for more than a 2nd or mid level prospect. Think our D (overall, not personnel) is comparable to StL and he'd do well here.
