I don't remember them all. It wasn't bad though. Steen, stajan, colaiacovo, ian white, wellwood, pilar, boyes. All highly regarded at the time.

Well outside of Steen(who was traded) and arguably Boyes, none of those guys ended up being quality NHL'ers. White, Boyes, Wellwood ended up being journeymen, a dime an dozen type. Either the Leafs scouting staff was bad or their development sucked. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that the Canucks by the end of this summer will end up having a more promising group than those guys when all is said and done.

Well you'd have to add a lot. There isn't a single A list prospect there. Yes, many of those guys didn't turn into solid NHLers. That's how it works with prospects. You think both horvat and shinkaruk will? Odds are against it....

Wow!

Obviously Murray is wanting it done his way. He is a very direct, tough talking guy. But, this is really shocking, especially if Teddy follows. He has proven to be a great coach of young talent.

If Nolan goes, I wonder if Murray tries to recruit Luke Richardson. He has done a great job developing the Senator prospects.
