Yep, those were the golden days w/all that talent.
My favorite was Peter Forsberg, wondered how he would have ended without an early exit bc of back problems..

My god, how the hell could I forget about forsberg. Or even sakic for that matter . Forsberg would probably have had double the amount of points in his career if injuries hadn't slowed him down. He was magic with the puck. Tremendous hands. Could create something out of nothing, and had grit.

The only thing that matters to me for the rest of the season is to see the rookies improve as the year progresses and KO continue to prove hes an elite forward in this league.

He made a couple of strong moves in the game. I don't know if he will ever be elite but he's a good player.

The guy is my all time Fav player, but honestly if he ends up once again in a new city with a different franchise taking his ball and going home because he didnt get his way... its all on him. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when it came to him, Wang & the Islanders. But.. not looking good.

I have to agree. If this blows up again it's on Patty. Who will hire him again if this goes bad again after a very short while? It's hard sometimes when you have a GM then someone above the GM and then the owner. Better sometimes to just have the GM. Too many ego's. There is talk the GM did not go to Patty on the Miller trade.

I still have no idea what happened with the Isles. I thought he got upset when Neil Smith was let go. Some say Smith left on his own? No clue to this day what happened.
