Jesus. Knowing that I can safely say the Blues gave up way too much in this deal. - hereticpride
Well if they win the cup, they won't care. |

Yup, really good haul. And they might be flipping Stewart to Ottawa........Ottawa was rumored to want him. - ob18
If they can flip Stewart and Halak, that will be a great haul for them. Blues gave up a lot. |

Yeah, theres that. But with the Hawks and Ducks they still are far from a shoe in.
Boy, they gave up a lot. |

Plenty of time to go before the deadline, they aren't done. |

It's safe to say they went all in, personally I'd have kept the 2015 1st rounder.

I like Ehrhoff. He'd be a nice addition. - PhillySportsGuy
Agreed. What I can't put my finger on though is what I'd be willing to give up.

I'd give up a first or Laughton. Not both though. |

Same. They're going to want a young forward and probably a pick.
I'd do one of BSchenn, Laughton or Read and a pick. Not a 1st rounder if it's BSchenn. That's probably fair. |

They're still giving up the 2015 1st regardless, and if they reach the Western Conference Finals they give up the 2014 whether they sign him or not. Ouch. |

Laughton will be expendable when we get a 12-14th round 1 pick and get another center.

You're right. If they lose in the western finals or stanley cup, they will feel obligated to sign him. |

There is no such thing as getting another first round pick making a top asset expendable.

I don't know, if Erhoff going to fix everything on the back end? If so I'd have to consider it more than I am now. |
