I know it sounds stupid....(all of my post do)

But if the Habs could trade away Briere AND Gionta, I wouldn't mind trading for Hemsky to play with Plek on the RW

Gionta won't be traded. Zero chance happening...Heck, they might even keep Markov and think they have a chance for a run this year

Hemsky would be perfect. Lazy, allergic to corners, never shoots.

I could see New Jersey acquiring Gionta (for a 5th round pick)

that was my point before. there's no use making a deal like that, giving a player away. if you could get a second for Gionta, then you do it.

While the 5th round pick sure sounds sweet, I'm not looking forward seeing Plekanec play with Leblanc again.

Ever.

(frank) that female genitalia. OQLF are still here 2day, I think it's been 2-3 times in the past 3 years. Last time they complained the "Welcome" was the same size as the "Bienvenue" at the building's entrance. (frank)ing waste of tax payer's money.

I'm not looking forward to seeing Leblanc play...anywhere.

This team has issues and is poorly constructed. Can someone explain the logic behind the Briere deal?

Briere's two biggest contributions this year was receiving the torch from Beliveau (WTF was that?!?) and his appearance in Gallagher's McDonald commercial.

Maybe re-signing Ryder wouldn't have been such a bad thing afterall...

We all know that "Welcome" sign is an obvious threat to the French language and distinct culture of Quebec.

We were on board. Only Oilhab (RIP) hated Ryder.
